Job Description
Registered Nurse - Birthing Center

Schedule

12-Hour Day shifts, minimum of every other weekend, and must work 2 out of 4 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day.

Assignment Details

Contract Length: 7 weeks

Requirements

• Current state RN license
• AHA BLS and NRP certifications required
• Minimum of 1 year LDRP experience
• Experience in labor, delivery, postpartum care, and newborn care
• Epic experience within the last 2 years is required
• Floating to med-surg and ED units may be required

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and quality nursing care to patients in the birthing center.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions throughout labor and delivery.
• Implement care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Educate patients and families on birthing process and postpartum care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient care and experiences.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and team meetings.
