Location : NYC (Remote – but able to work in-person at some events) Salary Range : $2k-4k monthly. Final compensation will be based on experience, skill sets, and scope of work. Reports to : Founder About Matinee Social Club Matinee Social Club is an NYC-based events company hosting high-energy, community-driven dance parties for Millennials & beyond. Role Overview We’re looking for an agency or freelancer to own content creation and storytelling for Matinee Social Club. This role will own both social media and email marketing to help drive ticket sales for all of our events in NYC. We're a small team, so we're looking for an agency or a multi-talented individual that is able to help with the following... Social media management (Just Instagram for now) Content creation (Reels, carousels, light graphic design) Paid ads (optional) Who You Are NYC-based >2yr experience as a content creator and/or social media manager –ideally in events and/or hospitality Comfortable with graphic editing software (Photoshop and/or Canva) Comfortable with video editing software Able to balance aesthetics with performance Available to capture content at select events in person on weekends What Success Looks Like Increasing engagement and following on Instagram Increasing subscriptions and conversion rates on email Tell our story & make it look good Create compelling content packages for new event launches Responsibilities 1. Content Creation & Strategy (Core Responsibility) Develop content strategy & storytelling for all events Work with photographers/videographers to gather assets Capture video + photo content at events 2. Social Media Execution Post reels, stories, and feed content regularly Execute content calendar (monthly + weekly) 3. Email Marketing Execution Build and send weekly and monthly emails 4. Reporting & Growth Build monthly reports on engagement and growth Legal & Compliance Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
