Compensation: $48.29 - $65.06 per hour

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse (RN) delivers nursing care within the healthcare system, adhering to the guidelines set forth by the Nurse Practice Act and relevant regulatory standards. This role emphasizes the importance of ethical practice as outlined by the ANA code of ethics. The RN is committed to ensuring safety in their practice and incorporates evidence-based principles, while also recognizing their own knowledge and experience levels. They are responsible for enhancing their own understanding and that of their patient care team through effective communication and the utilization of available resources. Additionally, the RN must report any identified safety concerns, such as hazardous conditions or medical errors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide nursing care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards.
• Maintain awareness of ethical standards as defined by the ANA code of ethics.
• Ensure safety in practice and report safety issues, including hazardous environments and medical errors.
• Understand the patient population being served.
• Supervise and guide the delegation of tasks to appropriate team members, collaborating with other healthcare providers.
• Set and evaluate priorities consistently, implementing interventions with measurable outcomes for improvement.
• Utilize the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and tailor the care plan to meet individual patient needs.

Qualifications:

Required:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or a Nursing Diploma.
• 1-2 years of experience in a relevant specialty.
• Strong communication and organizational abilities.
• Proficient in computer skills.

Certifications and Licenses:

• BLS and ACLS certifications.
• Active Registered Nurse License in New Jersey.
• Must hold a valid New Jersey State Driver’s License.

Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN).
• Completion of clinical experience in an NLN accredited program.
• Eligibility for screening certification.
• National certification.

Scheduling Requirements:

Night shift, 36 hours per week.
