The Registered Nurse delivers nursing care within the healthcare framework, adhering to the Nurse Practice Act and regulatory standards. This role emphasizes ethical practice as outlined by the ANA code of ethics. The RN ensures safety in their practice, embraces evidence-based principles, and is committed to enhancing their own knowledge and that of the patient care team through effective communication and resource utilization. Responsibilities include reporting safety concerns, understanding the patient demographics, supervising task delegation, and collaborating with other healthcare providers. The RN is also tasked with setting and assessing priorities through measurable interventions aimed at improving patient outcomes.

Our organization is in search of a dedicated Registered Nurse for Monmouth Medical Center.

Required:

• Associate's Degree in Nursing or a Nursing Diploma
• 1-2 years of experience in a relevant specialty
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities
• Proficient in computer skills

Certifications and Licenses Required:

• BLS and ACLS certifications
• Active Registered Nurse License in New Jersey
• Must hold a valid New Jersey State Driver’s License

Preferred:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Completion of clinical experience from an NLN accredited institution
• Eligibility for screening certification
• National Certification

• Night Shift, 36 hours per week

• The Registered Nurse ensures safety in practice and incorporates evidence-based principles while being aware of their own knowledge and experience. They take responsibility for enhancing their own and the team's knowledge through effective communication and available resources.
• Responsible for reporting safety issues, including hazardous conditions and medical errors.
• Must possess knowledge of the patient population served.
• Supervises and directs task delegation to appropriate team members while collaborating with other healthcare providers.
• Consistently sets and evaluates priorities through appropriate interventions with measurable outcomes aimed at improvement.
• Utilizes the nursing process to integrate all aspects of care and tailors the care plan to meet specific patient needs.
