About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP, Investment/Fund Operations to play a key role in the development of its U.S. ETF business, with a specific focus on derivatives-based and outcome-oriented ETF strategies. This is a pivotal position within a start-up growth initiative, and the successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the operational infrastructure that supports investment activities, portfolio management, fund administration, and client servicing. The role demands a high level of accuracy, timeliness, and scalability across the full investment lifecycle. The VP will be expected to collaborate closely with the Canadian team, maintain regular communication, and adapt existing capabilities for the U.S. ETF market. Applicants for the VP, Investment/Fund Operations role at the company should have 5-10 years' of experience in fund operations, fund accounting, middle office, or investment operations, with a strong background in supporting both mutual funds and exchange-traded funds, particularly those involving over-the-counter and exchange-traded derivatives. A Bachelor's degree in a related discipline is required, and professional designations such as an MBA, CPA, or CFA are a plus. The role also requires advanced Microsoft Excel skills, a strong understanding of investment operations, fund accounting, NAV reporting, and financial statements, as well as experience with third-party administrators, auditors, and financial service providers. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, with a proven track record of contributing to operational efficiency and process improvement.
