Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Miller Behavioral Services, you will:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of couples and families, formulating individualized treatment plans.

• Provide therapy sessions that may include couple’s therapy, family therapy, and individual therapy, tailored to the needs of each client.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral techniques, solution-focused therapy, and systemic approaches, to address a variety of issues.

• Facilitate discussions around sensitive topics such as alcohol abuse, psychological/physical abuse, grief, family conflicts, and adjustment disorders.

• Collaborate with other health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to treatment, participating in case conferences as needed.

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of client interactions and treatment progress in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

• Engage actively in continuous professional development through training and supervision opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on a diverse range of clients, including adults and children/adolescents facing various challenges such as grief and loss issues, blended family dynamics, separation and divorce, and job-related stress.
