Correction Enterprise Supervisor I (Warehouse)

This CES I will supervise offenders in the loading and unloading of products shipped and received out of Correction Enterprises Apex facility. This includes maintaining accurate inventory in reference to product receipt and storage. This includes offender training and monitoring for storing materials properly in the warehouse or on a truck/trailer. Train offender staff on safety and the maintaining of a safe work environment. Also hold the offender staff accountable to safe working behaviors. Maintain all offender safety files and monthly safety inspection records. Perform cycle counts to verify on hand inventory and to ensure that product inventories reconcile with system quantities. Also guard against materials being lost, misplaced, or inadequately accounted for. Various duties assigned by the Distribution Manager, Warehouse Manager, and/or Logistics Manager, including but not limited to, warehouse sanitation, general warehouse maintenance, and forklift/equipment maintenance and repair.

High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and a minimum of one year of related industry/service experience; or an equivalent combination of training and directly related experience.
Must be eligible for certification by the North Carolina Criminal Justice Education & Training Standards Commission.
