Immediate need for a talented Project Manager with experience in the Banking & Financial Industry. This is a 13 + Months Contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Plano, TX. Please review the job description below.

Key Requirements and Technology Experience:

• Manage communications, meetings, project implementation activities and risk.
• Build out and manage project plan according to different work streams, including detailed technology and business tasks, resources and dependencies.
• Manage internal resources and multiple vendors across work streams simultaneously.
• Create project artifacts that include but not limited to Project Charter, Business Case, Testing Plans, Scope inventory, RFPs and SOWs.
• Prepare weekly status reports and monthly scorecards.
• Manage control scope changes and factors which may impair the value of the project.
• Establish and maintain all project documentation in its system of record.
• Mitigate risks and issues and manage proactive escalations.
• Manage budget and maintain accurate cost and schedule forecasts.
• Strong MS Project experience.
• Strong technology background (requirements, application management, maintenance, operations, migrations and upgrades).
• Experience in managing all phases of the SDLC.
• Ability to work independently, with strong organizational and flexibility skills in a team-oriented environment.
• Leadership qualities that can move the team to a common vision and decision, effective at setting directions and building effective teams.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with people at all levels of the organization.
• Pragmatic, personable with very clear and efficient communication style.
• Ability to apply and drive projects using agile project management methodologies.
• Financial management skills including forecasting and budgets.
• Agile project management methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or other related discipline.
• Experience with large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Experience as a project manager in Automotive or Financial industry.
• PMP preferred.
• Agile project management certification.
