We take pride in bringing Taiwanese culinary heritage to Honolulu, ensuring every bite tells a story of tradition, passion, and excellence.About the RoleRestaurant Captain (Assistant Managers) plays a key leadership role, supporting the General Manager in daily operations while ensuring our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) are upheld, the team is well-trained, and guests receive exceptional service.Restaurant Captains lead by example, energize the team, and ensure the restaurant consistently meets or exceeds operational standards.We look forward to learning more about you and what you can bring to our team!Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist guests with a friendly and professional demeanor; respond appropriately to feedback and concernsTrain team members and uphold company standards in food preparation, service, and cleanlinessMonitor food quality and manage food cost controlsCommunicate daily goals and support team members during busy shiftsCoordinate schedules, cleaning checklists, inventory, and supply ordersResolve operational issues promptly, including guest concerns and training gapsClearly communicate procedures, standards, and expectationsLead training across all stations using hands-on guidance and the company's learning management systemLearn basic maintenance of kitchen equipmentConduct daily quality checks to ensure consistency and high standardsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum 2 years of experience in customer service, food service, or a related fieldHigh school diploma or GED requiredValid food handler's permit (or willingness to obtain one)Alcohol server permit preferredStrong attention to customer needs and detail-oriented service mindsetExcellent verbal communication and leadership skillsAbility to perform effectively in a fast-paced environmentStrong training, coaching, and team development abilitiesSolid organizational and problem-solving skillsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsComfortable working in variable temperatures and around chemicals, smoke, or airborne particlesLocation & Reporting Structure:Based in Honolulu, HIReports directly to the Director of Operations until a District/Regional Manager is appointedIncludes 6–8 weeks of training in Seattle prior to opening.Benefits & Other Compensation:Medical, dental, and vision insurancePaid time offEmployee meals and discountsOpportunities for career growth and professional developmentEligibility and benefit offerings may vary based on position and tenureHealth benefits: Supreme Dumplings pays 90% of the premium after 60 days of employmentSupreme Dumplings is an equal opportunity employer.
