Diabetes Processing Specialist

Play a key role in helping patients access life-changing diabetes care. As a Diabetes Processing Specialist, you'll be a critical member of our sales support team, ensuring orders move forward quickly and accurately. You'll use your attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and people-first approach to support document collection, navigate insurance requirements, and build strong relationships with physician offices. In this highly collaborative, fast-paced role, you'll partner with distributors, field sales, and inside sales teams to meet sales goals, drive revenue, and ensure clean claims processing. Your work directly supports timely access to therapymaking a meaningful impact for people living with diabetes every day.

Location: 18302 Talavera Ridge, San Antonio, TX 78257

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8-hour shift between 7:00 AM 7:00 PM

Pay: $18/hour + sales incentive bonus (earn up to $4,350+ annually or more)

Training: Paid training begins Oct 19

Must be available to attend training from Oct 19 Nov 2

What You'll Do

• Partner with inside and field sales teams to support end-to-end order processing
• Submit documentation to physician offices and insurance providers
• Review physician charts and labs to support insurance approvals
• Follow up on pending prescriptions, chart notes, labs, and prior authorizations
• Communicate with physician offices via phone, fax, and email to resolve documentation gaps or appeal rejected submissions
• Advocate for patients by building strong relationships with physician offices and insurance companies
• Coordinate with national distributors to support claims processing
• Deliver a minimum of 10 outbound phone calls per day
• Maintain clear written and verbal communication with internal teams

Minimum Requirements (Must Have)

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Two (2) years of customer service or sales experience

Nice to Have

• Customer service experience in a call center or sales environment
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
• Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Ability to collaborate effectively across regional, district, and territory teams
• Ability to work with speed and precision while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Prior experience in the medical / healthcare field

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$35,000.00 - $59,000.00

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
