The Learning Experience is seeking an experienced Preschool Center Director to lead the people, operations, enrollment, and family experience at our early childhood education center.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who knows how to run a successful preschool or childcare center. You'll lead and develop the team, maintain licensing and safety standards, build strong relationships with families, and drive enrollment and retention.

What You'll Do

• Lead, coach, and retain a high-performing team of early childhood educators
• Own day-to-day center operations, staffing, scheduling, and performance
• Maintain full compliance with state childcare licensing, health, and safety requirements
• Recruit, onboard, develop, and engage teachers and center leaders
• Build strong relationships with families and create an exceptional experience from enrollment through graduation
• Conduct center tours and convert prospective families into enrolled families
• Drive enrollment, family retention, and community engagement
• Partner with teachers to ensure consistent delivery of The Learning Experience curriculum and classroom standards
• Manage center business operations, including labor, payroll, accounts receivable, and financial performance

What You Bring

Required:

• At least 1 year of leadership or management experience in a licensed preschool, childcare, or early childhood education center
• Experience leading and developing a team
• Working knowledge of state childcare licensing requirements
• Ability to meet all state requirements for a Preschool Center Director
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills

Preferred:

• 2+ years of experience as a Preschool Director, Childcare Center Director, Assistant Director, or similar early childhood leadership role
• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Education, Business, or a related field
• Experience with enrollment growth, family retention, staffing, and center operations
