Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated Mortgage Loan Officer Assistant with strong attention to detail to join our growing mortgage team. In this role, you will support our licensed loan officers by contacting prospective borrowers, qualifying potential clients, setting appointments, and keeping the sales pipeline organized. You will play a key part in generating business opportunities and ensuring a steady pipeline of purchase and refinance clients for home loan financing solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Make outbound calls to warm and cold mortgage leads using an auto dialer (Five9) and CRM system (Salesforce)
• Engage potential homebuyers and homeowners professionally to determine interest, eligibility, and loan needs (purchase, refinance, cash out, FHA, VA, conventional)
• Pre screen and pre qualify prospects, then schedule appointments and live transfers for licensed loan officers
• Support loan officers with follow up calls, lead nurturing, pipeline management, and client communication
• Maintain detailed and accurate records, notes, and dispositions in the CRM and lead management system
• Meet daily and weekly call volume, contact rate, and appointment setting targets
• Follow all compliance, TCPA, and privacy guidelines related to consumer financial data
• Provide feedback to management on lead quality, scripts, and campaign performance

Requirements:

• Previous experience in telemarketing, cold calling, inside sales, appointment setting, customer service, call center, or lead generation (mortgage, real estate, insurance, or financial services experience preferred)
• Strong verbal communication, phone presence, and active listening skills
• Comfortable working in a fast paced, high call volume environment
• Ability to handle objections, stay professional, and keep a positive attitude
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with CRM tools and sales software
• Reliable high speed internet and phone connection if working remotely

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual (English and Spanish or other languages) is a plus
• Familiarity with mortgage terminology, loan products, and the loan process (rates, LTV, DTI, pre approval, underwriting basics)
• Experience using dialer systems such as Five9, or similar
• Interest in becoming a licensed loan officer or pursuing an NMLS license in the future

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly pay $17 to $20 plus performance bonuses for appointments set and funded loans
• Growth path into loan officer, processor, or sales management roles
