Lead Quality Inspector

Lead Quality Inspector opportunity with a growing aerospace and defense manufacturer in Bedford, NH.

We're seeking someone with a strong quality inspection background who has also taken on leadership responsibilities, whether through formal management, team leadership, mentoring, training, or serving as a quality subject matter expert.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections to ensure products meet customer and quality requirements
• Document nonconformances and support corrective action activities
• Train and educate team members on quality standards and inspection processes
• Coordinate inspection activities with production and department managers
• Create and maintain inspection records, process checklists, and quality documentation
• Identify and disposition suspect or defective materials
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and manufacturing processes

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with AS9100 quality standards
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Knowledge of GD&T preferred
• CMM experience is a plus
• Leadership, training, mentoring, or team coordination experience
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• U.S. Citizenship required and ability to obtain a security clearance
