The ideal Plant Manager will leverage & grow their experience with:

- Manufacturing leadership - shop-floor leadership of all operations activity \n
- Lean manufacturing - implementing standard work and removing waste \n
- Communication - direct employees, management & executive levels \n
- Financial controls - initiating & leading advancements in productivity \n
- Hands-on daily leadership style to engage, motivate and retain employees \n
- Business acumen - interacting with key customers and suppliers \n
Our client is a well-established and growing metal products Manufacturer in the greater Chicago area. Join the senior leadership team, with responsibility for overall Plant performance!
\n \nReporting to the VP-Operations, the Plant Manager will have direct responsibility for ~60-70 associates across 2.5 shifts, along with supervisors and support staff.
\n \nLocation: Onsite (not a hybrid or remote role)
\nProduction schedule: M-F (primarily shift 1)
\nRelocation: Not available, local candidates are welcome to apply
\nTravel: minimal, primarily day-trips if necessary
