A Series A fintech in New York building the risk and intelligence layer for bank payments. Its platform verifies account ownership, checks payment history and scores risk before money moves. Thousands of businesses already use it.

Customers are payment platforms, PSPs, software companies, lenders and fintechs. The company recently closed its Series A with well-known fintech investors. It plans to grow from a small team to around 100 people over the next two years.

The role

\n

\n

This is the first demand generation hire. You'll build the engine that turns a strong product into a predictable pipeline.

\n

\n

You'll report to the Head of Marketing and work as a strategic partner to her and the revenue leader. They want someone who arrives with a point of view, not someone who needs a brief. You'll say what to prioritize and back it with evidence from your own experience.

What you'll own

\n

\n

\n
• Outbound and ABM. Turn purchased and partner-sourced target lists into multi-touch outbound and account-based campaigns, with messaging support from the Head of Marketing.
\n
• Website optimization. Own conversion across the site and make sure landing pages, ads and positioning tell one story.
\n
• Email marketing. Build nurture and lifecycle programs from scratch.
\n
• Paid. Choose the right channels and manage paid programs. Paid is one channel, not the whole job.
\n
• ICP and scoring. Maintain ICP, personas and lead scoring with sales, product marketing and RevOps.
\n
• Analytics. Own the tooling (Heap and the CRM) and report on pipeline, CAC and SQLs.
\n
• Experiments. Run each test with a clear hypothesis, success criteria and a kill point. Justify spend to leadership.
\n
• Search. Keep SEO and answer-engine visibility in mind across the full funnel.

What we're looking for

\n

\n

\n
• Experience owning full-funnel B2B demand generation across outbound/ABM, email, paid and the website. Not only one channel.
\n
• Experience building demand gen from zero or near zero at a B2B startup , ideally under 150 people. Bonus if you were one of the first marketing hires.
\n
• A track record of owning pipeline with sales : SQL targets, agreed definitions and a working feedback loop.
\n
• Experiments with discipline : you know when a test is working, when to pull the plug and how to explain both.
\n
• Independence. You set priorities across many stakeholders, ask for help when you need it, and don't need managing day to day.
\n
• A builder's mindset and a habit of learning. You want to grow with the company from 10 to 50 to 100 people.
\n
• Able to work from the NYC office four days a week .

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, payments, banking or risk. Helpful, but not required for the right builder.
\n
• Hands-on with Heap, HubSpot or Salesforce, Clay or similar outbound tooling.
\n
• Website experimentation and CRO experience.
\n
