Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An Interim Pharmacist in Charge position is available in Frisco, CO, offering a critical leadership role within the pharmacy while the organization identifies a permanent candidate. This is a working PIC role where you will actively participate in dispensing, verifying, and filling prescriptions alongside managing daily operations. There is potential for this contract role to transition into a permanent opportunity for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure smooth workflow and adherence to regulatory standards
- Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, accreditation requirements, and internal policies
- Supervise, train, and support pharmacists, pharmacy technicians, and other support staff to maintain high-quality service
- Accurately dispense, verify, and distribute medications in an outpatient/clinic pharmacy setting
Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Colorado Pharmacist License
- Recent experience as a Pharmacy Manager or Pharmacist in Charge
- Strong knowledge of outpatient pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance
- Ability to lead and motivate a pharmacy team effectively
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, from 9:15 a.m. to 5:15 p.m.
