Assistant Operations Manager
Description:
Assist the Operations Manager with the day-to-day business activities
Help coordinate staff schedules, assignments, and workflow to ensure efficient operations.
Monitor operational performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Assist in creating and implement policies, procedures, and standard operating processes.
Supervise, train, and support employees to maintain high standards of performance and customer service.
Track inventory, supplies, equipment, and operational resources as needed.
Address operational issues and resolve problems in a timely and professional manner.
Coordinate with other departments, vendors, clients, and external partners when necessary.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, regulatory, and company requirements.
Support special projects and other operational initiatives as assigned.
Safely operate general power tools to create, assemble and complete various construction projects
Safely operate scissor lifts, boom lifts and everyday ladders.

A Qualified Candidate Should:
Have a clean driving record and be over the age of 25 in order to drive a company vehicle.
Be able to work Monday through Friday, 8am-4pm.
Be professional and courteous while working on projects inside commercial office spaces, flexible and versatile to take on varying tasks that change daily and detail oriented to handle duties while working independently on projects.
Additional requirements may include working a Saturday during seasonal rotations in April, May and October and various weekends during our holiday season, Thanksgiving through the second week of December and the first two weeks following New Years.

Training:
Experience working with live plants a plus but will train the right candidate at time of hire.

Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent, Valid Driver's License and clean driving history, Reliable Vehicle.
2-3 years of supervisory or management experience, with a proven track record in hands-on trades, construction or field installations.
General Carpentry skills such as use of different saws for cutting wood, drilling holes in wood, use of hammers, and measuring accurately.
