Travel Villa Kitchen (VK Capital Ventures Inc.) is hiring a Lead Prep at $13/hr. Our kitchen supports cooking classes, private dinners, farm demos, and community events across Houston — and the prep team keeps it all running.
The Lead Prep runs the prep line on shift:• Leads prep cooks on shift — assigns tasks and keeps the line moving
• Owns the prep list and station setup for classes and events
• Checks quality and timing on all prep output
• Keeps the kitchen clean, stocked, and ready for classes and events
• Follows food-safety standards (gloves, hair restraints, clean stations) Shifts are event-based, including evenings and weekends, scheduled in Homebase as events are booked. Local travel between Houston-area kitchens and event locations may be part of the role. Good fit: organized, steady under pressure, and serious about food quality and kitchen readiness.
