AppleTree Staffing is working with a Medical Facility in the Indianapolis area looking to fill an Intake Coordinator!

This company has 12 locations in Indiana, and they just continue to grow! They have a long-established history of commitment to the community. Their physicians have been diagnosing and treating patients in Indianapolis and Central Indiana for more than 40 years. They are dedicated to patient-friendly care and leading-edge research.

Responsibilities:

Enter admissions information into a computer system.
Verify a potential patient's insurance information.
Collect and process patients' co-pays.
Answer incoming calls to address patients' inquiries and explain the admissions process.
Perform administrative duties, including making copies, sending faxes, and organizing files.
Help patients schedule their appointments.

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED.
Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures.
Ability to use standard office equipment such as telephones, computers, and copiers.
Ability to communicate with others effectively.
Demonstrate excellent patient service skills
