Radiologic Technologist

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using X-ray equipment to assist in patient diagnosis. Ensure high-quality imaging services while maintaining safety and adherence to protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Operate X-ray and radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining processes and ensuring comfort.
• Follow safety standards and protocols to protect patients and staff from radiation exposure.
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
• Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure proper patient care and imaging quality.

Qualifications:

• Possess at least one (1) year of experience as a General Radiographer.
• Complete an approved Radiologic Technologist training program, including military training if applicable.
• Hold current certification and registration as a Radiology Technologist from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
• Maintain a valid radiologic technologist license issued by the NYSDOH.
• BLS certification preferred.
