# Dental AssistantYonkers, NYApplyShare on:Facebook |Twitter |LinkedIn## Overview**Saw Mill Dental** is looking for a **Dental Assistant**in **Yonkers, New York** to assist our clinical team by providing a high level of patient care and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.**What we offer:*** Competitive hourly pay **$20 Min-$22 Max*** Full time: M,T,W,TH F one sat/month* Health, dental, and vision insurance* Life insurance and disability benefits* 401(k) plan* Support for continuing education and professional development* Modern office with advanced dental technology## Responsibilities* Clinical Support: Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and assist dentists during procedures.* Patient Care: Welcome, comfort, and educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care.* Radiography & Diagnostics: Take and develop X-rays, assist with impressions, and maintain study models.* Compliance & Safety: Ensure infection control protocols, maintain patient confidentiality, and follow workplace regulations..* Maintain accurate patient records and documentation, including scheduling and patient intake (if needed)* Helps dentist manage dental and medical emergencies by maintaining CPR certification, emergency drug and oxygen supply, and emergency telephone directory.## Qualifications* 1 year on-the-job-experience* High school diploma or equivalent**Dental Assistant** are also expected to maintain annual OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and infection control training as required by law. **Legal Disclaimer:** *We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
