Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Days and Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30 / 19:00–7:30) | Every other weekend and some holidays required | 4x12 and Fri–Sun block schedules also considered

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within an ICU and IMC setting, including the neuro/neurosurgery patient population
• Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition, including telemetry and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient census requirements
• Document all patient care activities accurately using Epic EMR

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum of two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the ICU specialty
• ICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a telemetry exam prior to start (adult and pediatric); passing criteria include 100% identification of lethal rhythms and an overall score of 80% or higher — up to three attempts permitted under defined remediation guidelines
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neurosurgery experience preferred
• Experience working with both ICU and IMC patient populations
• Familiarity with cardiac rhythm interpretation and telemetry monitoring
