Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Rotating Days and Nights | 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:30 / 19:00–7:30) | 4x12 and Friday–Sunday block schedules also considered | Every other weekend and some holidays required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in an ICU and IMC setting with a focus on neurosurgical and neurological patient populations
• Monitor and interpret telemetry, including identification of lethal rhythms and heart blocks
• Float to other units as needed based on staffing and patient census
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently using Epic EMR
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-acuity inpatient care

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license required
• BLS and ACLS certifications required – American Heart Association (AHA) only
• Minimum two years of acute care inpatient RN experience within the last three years in the ICU specialty
• ICU experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must pass a telemetry examination prior to start (passing score of 80% or higher; strict criteria apply for lethal rhythm identification and heart block questions; up to three attempts permitted under defined conditions)
• Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Neurosurgery experience strongly preferred
• Experience working with both ICU and IMC patient populations
• Familiarity with cardiac rhythm interpretation in both adult and pediatric contexts
