Job Description As a Security Officer Hospital Morgue Transport Driver in Smyrna, TN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Healthcare Security Professional with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol hospital areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide compassionate customer service to patients, visitors, and staff. This driving position includes supporting specialized hospital operations, responding to security-related concerns, and communicating clearly during sensitive situations. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $20.20 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to patients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the healthcare facility, surrounding grounds, and perimeter to help identify and report security-related concerns. Monitor access points, visitor activity, and restricted areas in accordance with site-specific procedures. Document incidents, observations, and shift activities accurately and communicate relevant information to appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements At least 2 years of security-related experience is required. Required hospital vaccinations must be maintained. Must be able to work in a hospital morgue. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required. Be at least 21 years of age. A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
