A critical access hospital in Taos, NM is seeking an experienced pharmacist for a contract role focused on inpatient care. Schedule & Duration:

• Day shifts
• 3x 12-hour shifts (06:30 - 19:00)
• 13 weeks with potential for extension

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders for accuracy and safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient operations
• Collaborate and consult with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care
• Manage pharmacokinetics and dosage adjustments tailored to individual patient needs

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current New Mexico pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain a temporary license
• Minimum of 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience, demonstrating strong clinical judgment and operational skills
• Ability to handle responsibilities independently within a critical access hospital setting
