A pharmacist opportunity is available in Taos, NM, providing essential support at a critical access hospital with a maximum patient census of 25. This contract position focuses on delivering high-quality pharmaceutical care in an inpatient setting.

Schedule and Duration:

• Three 12-hour day shifts per week (06:30 19:00)
• Assignment duration of 13 weeks or longer

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain workflow efficiency
• Collaborate closely with physicians and nurses to optimize medication therapy
• Apply pharmacokinetics knowledge for personalized patient care
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements

Qualifications and Experience:

• Hold a valid New Mexico pharmacist license or be eligible to obtain a temporary license
