Cardiology Physician

Position: Staff MD Cardiologist Non-Invasive/Outpatient
Location : Brattleboro, VT
Tentative Start Date: October 1, 2026
Coverage Reason: Sole cardiologist in the group is retiring

Schedule:

• 3 5 days per week
• Outpatient only - no call, no weekend requirements
• 16 clinic patients/day
• Collaborate with 2 APRNs (no other cardiologists present during coverage)
• Hospital partners locally for ECHO/EKG reads

Setting:

• Multispecialty medical group, Trauma Level IV, 61-bed community hospital
• Adult patient population
• EMR: Cerner
• Procedures: Echocardiography, EKGs

Requirements:

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiology
• Current Vermont license, or willingness to obtain (facility will accept candidates needing licensure)
• BLS, ACLS and DEA required prior to start (no exceptions)

Credentialing: 2 months (can expedite if needed)
Travel: Flight, hotel, rental car, and mileage reimbursed
