VP, Energy Infrastructure Credit

Energy Infrastructure Credit The Vice President candidate in the EIC group is expected to have strong financial and modeling skills and experience working in an investment role at an alternative asset manager or as a VP in an investment banking role. The candidate should have previous exposure and interest in energy and power (traditional or sustainable energy), understand key industry and investment trends and related credit implications, and be knowledgeable in leading transactions and conducting due diligence. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required, and the role involves presenting to the EIC Investment Committee. Key Responsibilities and Duties Review quantitative economic, industry and company research and analysis Interact with management teams, private equity sponsors, banks and other capital market intermediaries as well as third party consultants Work as part of the EIC investment deal team to develop a broad range of credit/sensitivity cases and financial analysis in connection with investment opportunities Conduct due diligence on investment opportunities, including valuation and liquidity analysis, capital structure assessment and management team evaluation Evaluate risk/return parameters of investment opportunities Draft investment memorandums and prepare due diligence materials, and other internal documentation by coordinating internal and external resources Assist with review of legal documentation related to an investment opportunity Help present investment opportunities to the EIC Investment Committee Help prepare materials for ongoing monitoring of investment performance Monitor investment-related developments and KPI performance for investments the VP has worked on for the EIC portfolio Mentor associates and analysts, and review their work product Educational Requirements University degree preferred Work Experience 5+ years required; 7+ years preferred Career Level: 8IC Required Qualifications Minimum of 5+ years experience in investment banking, private equity, principal investment, credit research and/or equity research Preferred Qualifications 7+ years experience in the above fields Experience in energy, power, infrastructure and/or sustainable energy Undergraduate degree with coursework in finance, economics or accounting Knowledge of corporate finance, securities, financial markets and risk & pricing analysis Exceptional skills in quantitative analytics, financial modeling and credit analysis Aptitude to synthesize large amounts of information and develop innovative ideas and/or product solutions Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Ability to work under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines Strong written and oral communication skills and ability to convey ideas Creativity and intellectual curiosity Ability to work independently and effectively in a team environment Advanced proficiency with FactSet, Capital IQ, Bloomberg, Microsoft Office Related Skills Asset/Investment Modeling Clean Energy Acumen Collaboration Detail‑Oriented Due Diligence Financial Analysis Infrastructure Investments Negotiation Prioritizes Effectively Problem Solving Stakeholder Engagement Base Pay Range Anticipated Posting End Date: 2026-06-30 Base Pay Range: $175,000/yr – $225,000/yr Actual base salary may vary based on relevant experience, time in role, internal peer comparability, prior performance, business sector and geographic location.
