Take your Occupational Therapy expertise to the next level with an exciting contract opportunity supporting K-6 students in a vibrant educational setting near Naperville, IL. Provide life-changing interventions and help young learners reach their full potential during a pivotal stage of their development. This role offers part-time hours across three days per week, making it an ideal fit for therapists seeking impactful work and work-life balance. The assignment starts as soon as possible and continues through the end of May 2027.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Hold an active Occupational Therapist license in Illinois
- Demonstrated recent experience working in a school-based OT setting
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with teachers, families, and other school professionals
- Commitment to student-centered, evidence-based practice
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to K-6th grade students with a variety of needs
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and track progress toward IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers to support classroom accommodations and inclusive learning environments
- Communicate with families and team members to ensure a coordinated approach to student support
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
