Qualifications:

• Valid teaching certification in Special Education (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience working with multi-categorical populations, especially in K-2 or middle school settings
• Skilled in developing and implementing IEPs and differentiated lesson plans
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities
• Ability to adapt to varying academic, social, and behavioral needs
• Positive, team-oriented attitude and a genuine passion for working with children

Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging, individualized instruction aligned to student IEP goals
• Create and maintain a structured, supportive classroom environment
• Collaborate with general education teachers, specialists, and related service providers
• Foster meaningful relationships with students and families
• Track and document progress toward educational, behavioral, and social goals
• Participate in IEP meetings and implement data-driven instructional strategies
