Assembler I

The Assembler I will perform a variety of assembly and non-assembly tasks to support manufacturing operations and production goals. This role involves operating manufacturing equipment, assembling and inspecting products, identifying process issues, and maintaining quality standards while following established procedures and safety guidelines.

Key responsibilities include:

• Operate equipment used in the manufacturing process.
• Assemble, inspect, and verify products according to departmental procedures and quality standards.
• Identify product or equipment issues during the manufacturing process and escalate concerns to the Line Lead or Supervisor.
• Assist with manufacturing equipment setup, cleaning, and routine maintenance activities.
• Participate actively in Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement activities.
• Follow established work instructions, procedures, and company policies.
• Maintain awareness of product quality requirements and understand the impact of improper job performance.
• Identify and report potential product defects related to manufacturing, testing, and production processes.
• Support compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS), including ISO, FDA, and other regulatory requirements.
• Maintain professional conduct and positive communication with internal and external team members.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications include:

• Previous assembly or manufacturing experience required.
• Experience working in a production or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions.
• Good attendance and reliability are required.
• Ability to work independently on routine assignments with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
