The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with a proven track record in navigating complex regulatory environments, particularly in the satellite, aerospace, or telecommunications industries. Key responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance with international, federal, and local laws, developing and overseeing compliance programs, promoting a culture of ethics and corporate governance, and managing export control and trade compliance. The role demands a strong knowledge of industry-specific regulations, the ability to work cross-functionally with legal, operations, and engineering teams, and exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Applicants for the Vice President, Corporate Compliance position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in law, business administration, engineering, or a related field, with a Master’s or JD preferred, and at least 10 years of experience in compliance, regulatory affairs, or legal roles. The ideal candidate will have a background in managing cross-functional teams, expertise in developing and executing compliance strategies, and a deep understanding of risk management and regulatory requirements.
