About the Company Our client is a top-tier commercial real estate firm specializing in property management and real estate services. Their mission is to deliver value-driven solutions that elevate property performance and tenant satisfaction across their growing portfolio. About the Role Our client is hiring a Property Accountant to lead accounting operations for a diverse portfolio of commercial properties. This person will manage a team of Property Accountants and own all aspects of financial reporting, A/P and A/R workflows, and process improvement initiatives. This is a high-impact role for someone passionate about real estate accounting, team leadership, and operational excellence. What You’ll Do
- ️ead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting for managed properties (122 total)
- ️versee owner distributions, tenant billings, CAM reconciliations, and budgets
- ️nsure accuracy and compliance across all A/P and A/R functions
- ️ollaborate with property management leaders on budgets, forecasts, and variance analysis
- ️rive improvements in internal controls, accounting practices, and audit readiness
- ️upport onboarding and transitions for new properties in the portfolio
