Property Accountant

Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking a Property Accountant to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location. Expected starting base salary $30 to $32 per hour.
Job Responsibilities:- Compile and analyze financial data transactions. Create regular reports that summarize income, expenses, and other financial metrics for properties.
- keep track of company-owned assets, such as buildings, land, and equipment. Ensure accurate records of acquisitions, disposals, and depreciation.
- Maintain and reconcile various financial records. This includes ledger entries, accounts payable and receivable, investment portfolios, and balance sheets.
- Verify property details, tenant information, and lease terms. Maintain accurate data related to real estate assets.
- Analyzing balance sheet and profit and loss (P&L) statements, making necessary adjusting journal entries.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or business management.
- 2-5 years of experience in real estate or property management accounting.
- 2 plus years of experience with Yardi Voyager software.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office,
