About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a strategic and execution-focused approach. The CFO will be responsible for the oversight of all financial reporting and operations, capital raises, and risk management. This executive will play a key role in maintaining a robust internal control environment, leading financial planning and analysis, and establishing KPI dashboards. The ideal candidate will have a blend of accounting, treasury, financing, and insurance expertise, and will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive leadership team. Key responsibilities for the CFO include optimizing working capital cycles, building dynamic cash flow forecast models, and establishing corporate credit and collection policies. The role also involves evaluating and managing alternative risk financing mechanisms, overseeing commercial fleet insurance programs, and leading annual insurance renewals. The CFO will be expected to have a strong background in capital markets, with a proven track record of raising significant debt or equity capital and managing banking lines. Additionally, the successful candidate will be adept at cultivating and maintaining relationships with commercial banks, institutional investors, and lenders, and will advise on corporate capital structure strategies to optimize capital allocation. The successful candidate for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or economics, with a Master's degree (MBA) or CPA preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 3 years in a CFO or VP of Finance role, is required. Proficiency in enterprise ERP systems and advanced financial modeling software is essential. The CFO will be a key member of the executive team, and as such, must be a strategic thinker with the ability to execute and drive the financial success of the organization.
