Business Analyst (Remote) - AIRLINE INDUSTRY Client

Pay Range: $35-$38/hour (please do not apply if you are above this hourly rate)

Duration: 6+ month W2 Contract w/ extensions and potential to convert

Location: 100% remote role, no timezone preference (must be US-based)

We're seeking a Business Analyst who has 3+ years of experience in a large enterprise IT team to supporting enterprise platforms (Large Applications or web apps). This role will partner closely with Product Managers, business stakeholders, and Engineering teams to gather requirements, refine features, and ensure initiatives are ready for development.

This is an excellent opportunity for a BA who enjoys working at the intersection of business and technology, driving requirements from discovery through delivery while helping shape future platform enhancements and emerging AI-driven solutions.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of Business Analyst experience on complex apps/web apps or large enterprise platforms
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
• Strong experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria
• Experience participating in UAT and release activities
• Ability to facilitate conversations between business stakeholders and technical teams
• Experience conducting requirements workshops and stakeholder interviews
• Experience with backlog management and refinement
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Experience using Jira and Confluence
• Experience supporting software development teams through the SDLC
• Bonus: Exposure to AI, chatbots, automation initiatives, or digital transformation projects

What You'll Do

• Elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements for Airport Experience technology products, translating operational needs into clear user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and solution requirements . 
• Partner with Product Managers, Engineering, Architecture, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to define problems, clarify requirements, identify dependencies, and ensure initiatives are ready for development . 
• Support AI product development by translating business use cases into well-defined requirements, including expected outcomes, data needs, business rules, user experience, and success criteria. 
• Support the ongoing refinement and management of product backlogs , helping evaluate new requests, identify gaps, and prepare work for prioritization and delivery.
• Support UAT and solution validation , including validating AI-powered experiences for accuracy, relevance, usability, and alignment with the intended business need. 
• Analyze user feedback, product performance, and operational pain points to identify trends and recommend opportunities for product and AI capability improvements. 
• Serve as a key liaison between Airport Operations, Product, and Engineering teams , proactively communicating requirements, decisions, risks, dependencies, and changes throughout the product lifecycle.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, FL.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.

This is a fully remote position.
