The position is designed for qualified Registered Nurses (RNs) with a focus on delivering quality patient care during nighttime hours.

Job Details:

• Location: Austin, Texas, at a healthcare facility with a dedicated Medical Surgical unit.
• Position: Registered Nurse - Medical Surgical Floor (Contract)
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, at least 0 years of nursing experience, and candidates must meet all state licensing and educational requirements.
• Preferred Qualifications: Hospital experience with a minimum of 3 years nursing experience is preferred.
• Patient Ratios: 5:1 during day shifts, 6:1 during night shifts.
• Unit Profile:
  • Number of Beds: 32
  • Staff: No current staff on site; unit is new
  • Equipment: Bladder Scanner, Vital Sign Machine, Telemetry, Lifts
  • EMR System: Meditech
• Additional Information:
  • Must have open to feedback attitude and appropriate professional dress code in navy blue scrubs with the facility logo.
  • No routine procedures are performed on this unit; candidate must be adaptable to the unit's environment.
