Reports To: Director of Team Services

Schedule: MondayFriday, 40+ hours per week, with occasional evenings or Saturdays based on hiring needs and events

About the Role

KARM Stores is seeking a Recruiter to join our Team Services department , KARM Stores' Human Resources function.

The Recruiter supports the Recruitment Manager by helping lead the full-cycle recruitment process across KARM Stores. This role works closely with hiring managers and department leaders to attract, recruit, screen, interview, and onboard qualified candidates while providing an exceptional candidate experience.

The Recruiter serves as an important ambassador for KARM Stores, helping candidates understand our employment opportunities, mission, and values while ensuring a professional and welcoming recruitment experience.

What You'll Do

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

• Source, recruit, screen, and interview candidates for open positions throughout the organization.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs, position requirements, and candidate qualifications.
• Build and maintain candidate pipelines through job boards, social media, community partnerships, employee referrals, networking, and other recruiting strategies.
• Coordinate interviews, candidate communications, employment offers, and onboarding activities.
• Represent KARM Stores professionally throughout the recruitment process.
• Promote KARM Stores' mission, values, and employment opportunities to prospective team members.

Hiring Partnership & Collaboration

• Build positive working relationships with hiring managers and department leaders by providing responsive recruitment support and guidance.
• Collaborate with the Recruitment Manager and Team Services staff to promote consistent hiring practices and positive candidate experiences.
• Support a Christ-centered culture by demonstrating servant leadership, professionalism, integrity, and respect.
• Assist with hiring events, career fairs, community outreach, and other recruitment initiatives.
• Contribute to recruitment projects and organizational priorities as assigned.

Recruitment Operations & Compliance

• Maintain accurate candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) and Human Resources Information System (HRIS) .
• Ensure recruitment documentation complies with employment laws, organizational policies, and hiring procedures.
• Coordinate background checks, reference checks, onboarding paperwork, and other pre-employment requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive applicant and employment information.
• Support consistent, efficient recruitment processes through strong attention to detail and operational excellence.

Continuous Improvement

• Monitor recruitment activities and provide feedback to improve hiring processes and the candidate experience.
• Learn and apply new recruiting strategies, sourcing techniques, and employment best practices.
• Participate in professional and spiritual development opportunities.
• Assist with recruitment reporting, special projects, and other Team Services initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
• 13 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, human resources, or customer service.
• Experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS), Microsoft Office, and online recruiting platforms.
• Basic knowledge of employment law, interviewing techniques, and recruitment best practices.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Physical & Work Requirements

This position requires the ability to:

• Occasionally travel to store locations, career fairs, hiring events, and community outreach activities.
• Stand, walk, and move throughout office and retail environments during interviews and recruitment events.
• Occasionally lift and carry up to 25 pounds .
• Operate computers and standard office technology for extended periods.
