Bilingual Associate Attorney

We are seeking an eager and dedicated Bilingual (English & Spanish speaking) Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, especially traffic and criminal. This role requires excellent listening skills, the ability to learn and grow, and certainly to utilize knowledge and information to provide exceptional legal services to our clients.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive legal research to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents, including contracts and agreements.
  • Represent clients in various legal proceedings and negotiations.
  • Provide legal support and guidance on matters related to criminal law, and other relevant areas.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases and assist in trial preparation.
  • Maintain accurate records of case files and ensure compliance with all legal procedures.
  • Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations that may impact client cases.

Requirements

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to Louisiana State Bar
  • Experience or strong interest in criminal, workers comp and injury law
  • Proficient in legal research tools and software.
  • Excellent negotiation skills with an ability to advocate for clients effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
