Project Controls Coordinator

Project Controls Coordinator KEITH is looking for a Project Controls Coordinator to join our team in Pompano Beach, FL. We are looking for positive individuals to fit our energetic culture. What you'll do: The Project Controls Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects by assisting the executive leadership and project management team in managing project scheduling, accounting, and documentation. Project Scheduling: Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using industry-standard software (e.g., MS Project, Primavera). Coordinate with PMs to monitor project progress and update schedules to reflect changes. Coordinate with project managers and team members to ensure timely completion of project milestones. Identify and mitigate scheduling risks and conflicts. Project Accounting: Responsible for project billing, accounts receivable and consultant billing. Assist in the development of project proposals with project team Assist with preparing proposal budgets, fee structures, labor assumptions, and basic pricing components. Assist in tracking project budgets and financial forecasts. Prepare and analyze cost reports, identifying variances and recommending corrective actions. Assist with invoice preparation and validation of labor/expense entries. Collaborate with the finance team to ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures. Project Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence. Support the review of contract terms, including fee type, billing terms, and retainage. Ensure all project documents are organized and accessible. Assist in the preparation of project closeout documentation. What you'll need: This position requires a background in finance, accounting, or administration, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and forward-learning environment. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field. 0-2 yearsexperience in project controls, scheduling, accounting, documentationor a related role within Engineering, Architecture, or Constructionindustry. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus. Excellent communication and organizational abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently and work collaboratively in a team environment. Eagerness to learn and grow within project controls.
