Temp to Hire
Pay: $27.00 - $30.00 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Our client is seeking a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join their team. This position will support the day-to-day accounting operations while working alongside two experienced office professionals in a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and assist with billing functions
- Set up new projects within the accounting system
- Support general accounting activities and financial record keeping
- Assist with IRS filing requirements and compliance
- Maintain accurate financial data using QuickBooks
- Provide administrative and accounting support as needed
Qualifications:
- Experience using QuickBooks
- Knowledge of accounts payable, billing, and general accounting principles
- Familiarity with IRS filing requirements
- Construction industry accounting experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to multitask
