Are you a motivated sales professional with strong technology skills and a desire to learn and grow?

Renewed Outdoors is seeking a Customer Development Representative focused primarily on inside sales of our landscape products and services. This position develops customer relationships, responds to inquiries, follows up on leads and quotes, and identifies opportunities to grow new and existing accounts.

The ideal candidate is organized, comfortable using technology, and able to communicate confidently with customers by phone, email, and in person.

Experienced candidates with knowledge of seed, erosion control, Unilock or hardscape products, landscape materials, or contractor sales may also have opportunities to participate in outside sales and specialized customer development.

This position includes base pay plus sales incentive opportunities. Starting compensation will be based on experience. Candidates with relevant industry expertise and established outside-sales experience may be considered for an expanded role and compensation package, which would be discussed separately.

Compensation:

$40,000 - $55,000

Responsibilities:

• Develop relationships with new and existing retail, wholesale, contractor, and commercial customers.

• Respond to customer inquiries and recommend appropriate products and services.

• Follow up consistently on leads, quotes, estimates, and sales opportunities.

• Conduct outbound customer outreach to generate new business and support account growth.

• Identify opportunities to increase customer purchases through additional products and services.

• Assist with quotes, estimates, pricing, and gathering project information.

• Maintain accurate customer notes, sales activity, opportunities, and follow-up information using company technology and systems.

• Learn company products, services, pricing, delivery capabilities, and estimating processes.

• Work with Marketing to support promotions, customer communication, and growth initiatives.

• Coordinate with Store Operations, Delivery, and Manufacturing to ensure customer expectations are communicated and met.

• Provide professional customer service by phone, email, and in person.

• Support established sales, customer-development, and profitability goals.

Additional Requirements

As part of a small, collaborative company, team members occasionally assist in other areas when business needs arise. Candidates should be willing to provide limited support in our store or landscape-supply environment, which may include working outdoors, lifting up to 50 pounds, or learning to operate equipment when properly trained and authorized.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience selling goods or services, inside sales, customer service, account management, or a related field is preferred.

• Strong desire to learn, grow, and build a career in sales.

• Confident and professional communication skills.

• Comfortable making outbound calls and following up with prospective and existing customers.

• Strong technology skills and the ability to learn customer-management, estimating, sales, and communication software.

• Experience using Salesforce, construction bidding platforms, or similar CRM and estimating systems is a plus.

• Organized, dependable, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities and follow up on deadlines.

• Able to work independently while coordinating effectively with multiple departments.

• Knowledge of landscape materials, seed, erosion control, Unilock, hardscapes, construction materials, or contractor sales is a plus.

• A valid driver’s license is preferred for candidates who may participate in outside sales or customer-site visits.
