Healthcare Electrical Leader – Arup Arup is seeking an experienced Healthcare Electrical Leader with a strong focus on healthcare. The ideal candidate should be a licensed electrical engineer with extensive experience in multi-disciplinary projects, serving as a project manager or director in California, specifically in San Francisco, Oakland, or Los Angeles. Responsibilities Lead the electrical design for large scale hospital projects in California within HCAI Jurisdiction. Manage large, complex, long-term projects while coordinating with other disciplines and external partners within tight time and budget constraints. Act as engineer of record (or alternate). Foster a culture of innovation and technical excellence while building a climate of trust and openness within the team. Incorporate sustainable and decarbonization design methods into building designs. Be responsible and accountable for client relations (internal and/or external). Procuring healthcare work in conjunction with the senior management of the group. Build, renew, and maintain relationships with healthcare owners to obtain repeat business. Qualifications At least 12 years of electrical engineering and project management experience within the Healthcare market in California. Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in the state of California. Track record of building and managing successful relationships with client organizations. Demonstrable commercial acumen, business savvy, and leadership qualities. Energetic, passionate and inspirational leader, with successful track record of managing and leading a team. Strategic and innovative thinker with high level strategic planning skills and keen intellect to quickly understand the West Geography business environment and potential. Demonstrated passion for sustainable development and shaping a better world in line with Arup's values. Involvement in professional industry organizations would be well regarded. Salary Range Hiring range for this role performed in Los Angeles is $150,000 to $205,000 per year. Salary is commensurate with experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of Los Angeles will differ.
