The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounts payable and receivable processes.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts monthly.
• Process payroll and maintain accurate employee records.
• Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and financial policies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and cost accounting data.

Recommended Qualifications

• Proven experience with double-entry bookkeeping and generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) for financial transactions and reporting.
• Strong understanding of cost accounting principles relevant to a manufacturing environment (e.g., inventory valuation, standard costing).
• Demonstrated ability to reconcile complex accounts, including bank statements, vendor accounts, and customer accounts.
• Experience with payroll processing and related tax regulations.
