Pay: $32.00 – $35.00 per hour

About Us

We are a growing residential property management company seeking an experienced Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Coordinator to join our accounting team. This is a fast-paced role supporting a large portfolio of residential properties, requiring someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to process a high volume of transactions with accuracy and efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve high-volume vendor invoices entered by Property Managers.

• Process approximately 800–1,000 invoices per month .

• Code invoices to the appropriate properties and general ledger accounts.

• Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronic payments.

• Review and process security deposit refunds for accuracy and compliance with current regulations.

• Maintain tenant ledgers and assist with Accounts Receivable activities.

• Enter ledger adjustments and process tenant deposits.

• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve invoice discrepancies.

• Follow up with Property Managers regarding invoice approvals, coding, and outstanding items.

• Ensure accurate financial records across multiple residential communities.

• Assist with month-end accounting functions and other projects as assigned.

• Support the company's continued implementation of technology and AI-driven efficiencies.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of residential property management accounting experience (Required).

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on Yardi Voyager experience (Required).

• Experience with Yardi Payscan is required.

• Experience with Yardi Elevate is a strong plus.

• Strong Accounts Payable experience handling high transaction volumes.

• Working knowledge of Accounts Receivable processes.

• Excellent understanding of GL coding and property accounting.

• Experience reviewing security deposit refunds and tenant ledgers.

• Strong attention to detail while maintaining efficiency and productivity.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.

• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting multiple residential communities.

• Familiarity with recent California security deposit regulations.

• Experience working with move-in/move-out documentation and renovation workflows.

• Comfortable working in a technology-driven environment with AI-assisted processes.

Please Note: This position requires recent residential property management experience . Candidates with only commercial property management experience will not be considered.
