MaineHealth Maine Medical Center Pediatrics Biddeford is seeking an experienced Per Diem Physician to provide on-call coverage for our Level I Neonatal Nursery serving the Biddeford/Sanford region.


The successful candidate will provide per diem coverage for newborn nursery services, including newborn rounding, attendance at high-risk deliveries, and management of infants requiring Level I neonatal care. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced provider seeking flexible scheduling while working alongside an established and collaborative pediatric and neonatal team.


This position is anticipated to require up to 4-6 on-call shifts per month . Providers will work closely with experienced nursing staff, and hospital teams dedicated to delivering high-quality newborn care.


Minimum Qualifications:

• MD/DO from an accredited medical school.

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pediatrics.

• PALS and NRP certifications.

• Prior newborn nursery and/or neonatal inpatient experience required

• Experience with Level I nursery care and high-risk deliveries preferred
