Account Manager SMB-Business Sales

Apply prior to the end date: June 18, 2026 What you’ll be doing Developing and qualifying leads within respective territory to drive additional sales opportunities through cold‑calling, partner‑selling, lead‑generation campaigns and modern social selling techniques. Gaining new business and incremental revenue to meet sales targets. Retaining, managing and growing the existing customer base. Educating and exciting customers while leveraging innovative business solutions. Building relationships with key decision makers. Presenting and creating multi‑product solution opportunities. Understanding and selling groundbreaking integrated software solutions, including Cloud, Security, ISP, VoIP and Google platforms. Tracking and reporting progress through sales force automation tools. Driving sales, increasing service revenue and managing relationships for accounts in the 1–19 Employee Segment. This role is for the Louisville Area. Compensation includes base pay and target individual‑based commission, with the potential for unlimited commissions and additional incentives. Compensation varies by geography, performance and experience. What we’re looking for… You’re self‑motivated, thrive on crafting the right solution, and enjoy explaining complex technology in a clear way. You excel at cold‑calling, building relationships, and closing deals while acting with integrity. Bachelor’s degree or three or more years of work experience. Three or more years of relevant work experience. Willingness to work in a mobile working model with up to 50% travel in the assigned geographic territory. Valid driver’s license. Even better if you have: Associates or Bachelor’s degree, or related certifications/college courses. Two or more years of business‑to‑business or outside sales experience, including acquisition and prospecting/cold calling. Technology sales experience (SaaS, CRM, SalesForce or other client‑management tools, social media). Strong presentation skills in face‑to‑face and virtual settings. Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with all levels of client organizations. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, self‑directed, entrepreneurial environment. Excellent time‑management and prioritization skills. Ability to implement feedback and tailor your approach for success. Where you’ll be working In this mobile role, you primarily work from customer or field locations, with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in‑person training and meetings.
