About the Role

Our client is seeking an experienced Remote Site Development Civil Engineer to manage and design the infrastructure for new developments. This role focuses on site analysis, grading, drainage, utility coordination, and permitting for a variety of land development projects, all executed from a remote location. You will work closely with clients, architects, and construction teams to bring development plans to fruition, ensuring efficient and compliant site preparation. This position is perfect for a proactive engineer who excels in independent work and remote collaboration, contributing to the shaping of new communities and commercial spaces.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and design site layouts, grading, and drainage systems for development projects.
Coordinate with utility providers to ensure adequate service for new sites.
Prepare site development plans, construction documents, and permit applications.
Conduct site feasibility studies and preliminary design investigations remotely.
Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities to ensure project success.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in site development engineering .
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant design software.
Strong understanding of land development processes, zoning, and permitting.
Excellent remote communication and project management skills.
