As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and care. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while contributing to a welcoming environment. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.50 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a healthcare setting. Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established location procedures and communicating with appropriate personnel. Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facilities, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with location procedures, helping to support an orderly environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and follow-up information to Allied Universal leadership and designated location contacts. Minimum Requirements: Customer service experience is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Access control and badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
