This hybrid position requires working in the office at least two days per week. Applicants must reside within commuting distance of Washington, DC. About the Role You will independently manage a broad range of employment-based immigration matters while collaborating with experienced attorneys on particularly novel or complex legal issues. This role offers significant client interaction, responsibility for legal strategy, and the opportunity to continue expanding your expertise across multiple areas of employment-based immigration law. Your practice may include: Employment-based nonimmigrant petitions, including H-1B, L-1, TN, O-1, E-2, and related classifications Employment-based immigrant matters, including PERM labor certifications, EB-1 petitions, National Interest Waivers, and related permanent residence processes Strategic immigration counseling for corporate employers Select family-based and humanitarian matters, as appropriate Responsibilities Independently manage an active caseload of employment-based immigration matters from initiation through completion. Advise corporate clients on employment-based immigration strategy and compliance. Prepare, review, and file a broad range of employment-based petitions and applications while maintaining exceptional quality standards. Develop trusted client relationships through responsive communication and practical legal guidance. Collaborate effectively with legal assistants and paralegals to ensure timely, accurate case preparation and filing. Analyze complex immigration issues and develop practical, business-focused legal solutions. Remain current on changes in immigration law, policy, and agency practice. Participate in client education initiatives, internal training, and continuous process improvement. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Licensed and in good standing to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. Approximately three to five years of attorney experience practicing employment-based immigration law. Demonstrated experience independently managing employment-based nonimmigrant and immigrant matters. Strong legal research, analytical, writing, and communication skills. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to exceptional client service, professionalism, and collaboration. Experience using immigration case management software and Microsoft Office. Compensation Salary Range: $145,000–$165,000 , commensurate with experience, qualifications, and demonstrated employment-based immigration expertise. Business Development Incentive: Attorneys are eligible to participate in the firm's client origination program, which currently provides a bonus equal to 10% of collected fee revenue generated from clients they originate, subject to the terms of the firm's compensation policy.
